KENZO is happy to announce the next phase in its development for KENZO – La Collection Memento.

As of February 2019, KENZO will switch to a ‘see-now, buy-now’ format for its collection focused on reinventing KENZO’s rich archives for today. Instead of presenting a collection as part of this upcoming Paris fashion week, KENZO will remain part of the fashion calendar by celebrating the launch of its new film during New York Fashion Week on 7th September.

“We are super excited to work on this project for next year. The response over the past two years to La Collection Memento from press and customers alike has been amazing. Logistically it’s easier for us to present our main collections for KENZO in January and June, and this will remain the case, but giving customers the option to buy La Collection Memento as soon as it hits the runway is something we’re thrilled to pursue.” Carol Lim & Humberto Leon

The next KENZO show will take place in January 2019 when the house will present its men’s and women’s collections for Fall/Winter 2019/20.

KENZO – La Collection Memento was introduced in March 2017 and focuses on re-examining the archives of the near 50-year-old French founded Maison. It is presented twice yearly in February and September as part of Paris fashion week.

H&M Debuts ‘See Now, Buy Now’ with Studio S/S 2017

For the first time, H&M’s fashion show will align with the current season to bring their customers a collection straight off the runway. The H&M Studio collection will be presented during Paris Fashion Week for the brand’s first-ever ‘see now, buy now’ show on March 1st . It will be available to customers on hm.com immediately following the show and in select stores beginning March 2nd .

The fashion show will include key womenswear looks, and for the first time, will also show a full menswear collection. “Bringing fashion immediately from catwalk to checkout marks a new era for the fashion industry and we are very much looking forward to testing this exciting new format. We also want to share this moment with our customers and are therefore showing the fashion show live on our website. We hope they will enjoy it and find inspiration on how to mix the pieces to express their own personal style,” says Pernilla Wohlfahrt, H&M’s Head of Design and Creative Director.

Studio is the name of H&M’s elevated seasonal collections, created by H&M’s core design team featuring limited-edition pieces full of on trend key looks and statement pieces for the season. The first Studio collection launched back in Fall/Winter of 2013 with a show during Paris Fashion Week made to align with the runway calendars.

In 2017, H&M continues to celebrate their love for democratic fashion, now offering the H&M Studio S/S’17 collection directly to their customers. For Spring/Summer 2017, traditional tailoring techniques meet with the functionality and high-tech elements of sportswear in a fresh and modern clash pulling inspiration from the grace, passion and strength of the ballet movement.

alice + olivia's See-Now-Buy-Now LA Runway debuts Grateful Dead collection, draws Emily Ratajkowski, Kourtney Kardashian

The alice + olivia brand, in partnership with Neiman Marcus, held their first ever See-Now-Buy-Now runway show with music by The Dolls and Ana Calderon. The show, held the Wednesday before Coachella, featured the highly anticipated alice + olivia x Grateful Dead capsule collection paired with limited edition items from the Spring 2016 collection. Twelve exclusive items are now available at  aliceandolivia.com and neimanmarcus.com

“I hope to inspire consumers worldwide to kick off their festival season with alice + olivia,” said Stacey Bendet, “a See-Now-Buy-Now runway show is something I have been wanting to do for a few seasons but it took time to feel out when and where felt right…I wanted what I showed on that runway to be relevant to what consumers actually want to wear, now. I came up with the idea to have the show around Coachella and have the runway looks be based upon things that every girl would want to wear to a music festival.”

"It is exciting to be involved in the forefront of a new fashion phenomenon with Stacey,” said Ken Downing, Senior Vice President and Fashion Director, Neiman Marcus. “She has always been wildly intuitive, with the ability to anticipate her fashionable customers’ wants and desires. Creating a highly curated, creative, clever, and in-season fashion show, as only Stacey can do, with a Buy-Now-Wear-Now mantra, makes sense for her fashion followers that love and adore what she designs!”

alice + olivia by Stacey Bendet is pleased to announce that the brand, in partnership with Neiman Marcus, will hold their first ever See-Now-Buy-Now runway show on Wednesday, April 13 at NeueHouse Hollywood in Los Angeles, California. The show, held the Wednesday before Coachella, will feature the highly anticipated alice + olivia x Grateful Dead capsule collection paired with limited edition items from the Spring 2016 collection. Twelve exclusive items will be available at www.aliceandolivia.com and www.neimanmarcus.com.

Ken Downing, Senior Vice President and Fashion Director of Neiman Marcus, will co-style the runway show with Stacey Bendet, CEO and Creative Director of alice + olivia. The runway show will be streamed live from Los Angeles on both alice + olivia’s and Neiman Marcus’ social channels, including Periscope and Facebook Live.

The official announcement of Bendet’s foray into the See-Now-Buy-Now runway follows on the heels of the CFDA’s release of the results of the Boston Consulting Group’s study of the future of New York Fashion Week on its website, www.CFDA.com, earlier this year.

"It is exciting to be involved in the forefront of a new fashion phenomenon with Stacey,” said Ken Downing.

As alice + olivia embarks on the journey to modernizing their brand to match the consumer needs with a festival-themed See-Now-Buy-Now runway show in Los Angeles immediately prior to the first weekend of the Coachella Valley Music Festival, the brand embodies the CFDA’s call out of the study, “that deliveries must better match the actual, physical season and our consumers’ behaviors and needs.”

“I hope to inspire consumers worldwide to kick off their festival season with alice + olivia,” said Bendet, “a See- Now-Buy-Now runway show is something I have been wanting to do for a few seasons but it took time to feel out when and where felt right...I wanted what I showed on that runway to be relevant to what consumers actually want to wear, now. I came up with the idea to have the show around Coachella and have the runway looks be based upon things that every girl would want to wear to a music festival.”
