Jacob Plant's "Reflections ft. Example" gets a three-part remix package Out now on Skint Records

jacob plant

British young gun (and easy on the eyes) Jacob Plant continues to dominate the future house space with “Reflections ft. Example.”

His collaboration alongside the UK singer has already racked up 2 million+ Spotify streams to date, ranking #2 on the Upfront Club chart and #15 on Shazam’s UK Dance chart. The monstrous record has now received a three-part remix package that pushes “Reflections” across all corners of the dance floor.

LA-based duo JVST SAY YES turns the track into a funky bass-fueled groove, London-based tandem MANT concocts a chunky tech-house rendition and fellow Londoner Natives drenches Example’s syrupy vocals in pattering percussion work.

“Reflections” reasserts Plant’s position as a beat-making wunderkid. The producer responsible for Fly Eye Records' biggest non-Calvin Harris release ever (his collaboration with Tujamo titled “All Night” which reached #1 on Beatport’s electro house chart, #3 on the main chart and was the seventh most played song of 2015) has been championed by Pete Tong, Zane Lowe and Danny Howard for his unique brand of futuristic sound-sculpting. Since catching his first big break in 2013 when Calvin Harris released his propulsive single “Shakedown” via Fly Eye, Plant’s productions have catapulted across international airwaves and allowed him to perform in front of thousands at Lollapalooza, Reading & Leeds, HARD Day of the Dead, and even Wireless Festival where he rocked the stage and quite literally surfed the crowd.

UK meets Netherlands on Sander Kleinenberg & Felix Leiter’s euphoric The One

sander kleinenberg felix leiter

Spinnin’ Records kicks off 2016 with a joyous UK-Netherlands collaboration in the form of The One – a peak-time cut from Sander Kleinenberg and Felix Leiter.

Sander’s commitment to supporting new talent from around the world continues here, with Leiter emerging in recent years as one of the UK’s most promising names.

Resident at Newcastle’s mighty Digital (DJ Mag’s #11 Club In The World and Best Large UK Club), his productions continue to receive bigger and bigger support – with the likes of Steve Angello, Calvin Harris, Tiesto, Axwell, Fedde Le Grand, Mark Knight, Deniz Koyu, Thomas Gold, Eddie Halliwell and Pete Tong all giving him their seal of approval.

The One is an unabashed fist-pumper. Slickly crafted with a succinct, pumping beat, it’s driven by dreamy piano chords and a deep bassline that mirrors those sweet melodies, with a soulful vocal sample providing the icing on the cake. With a little old skool feel souped up in new skool style, it’s a gorgeous track that oozes classic house music vibes.

With 130,000 plays in just three days on SoundCloud, it’s set to be one of 2016’s first key dance hits. Our only problem with the track? It’s making us wish it was summer already…
