Jacob Plant's "Reflections ft. Example" gets a three-part remix package Out now on Skint Records
/British young gun (and easy on the eyes) Jacob Plant continues to dominate the future house space with “Reflections ft. Example.”
His collaboration alongside the UK singer has already racked up 2 million+ Spotify streams to date, ranking #2 on the Upfront Club chart and #15 on Shazam’s UK Dance chart. The monstrous record has now received a three-part remix package that pushes “Reflections” across all corners of the dance floor.
LA-based duo JVST SAY YES turns the track into a funky bass-fueled groove, London-based tandem MANT concocts a chunky tech-house rendition and fellow Londoner Natives drenches Example’s syrupy vocals in pattering percussion work.
“Reflections” reasserts Plant’s position as a beat-making wunderkid. The producer responsible for Fly Eye Records' biggest non-Calvin Harris release ever (his collaboration with Tujamo titled “All Night” which reached #1 on Beatport’s electro house chart, #3 on the main chart and was the seventh most played song of 2015) has been championed by Pete Tong, Zane Lowe and Danny Howard for his unique brand of futuristic sound-sculpting. Since catching his first big break in 2013 when Calvin Harris released his propulsive single “Shakedown” via Fly Eye, Plant’s productions have catapulted across international airwaves and allowed him to perform in front of thousands at Lollapalooza, Reading & Leeds, HARD Day of the Dead, and even Wireless Festival where he rocked the stage and quite literally surfed the crowd.
