WatchTheDuck's "Stretch 2-3-4 (Feat. Pharrell Williams)" Gets Remix Package
/Over the winter, WatchTheDuck (WtD) made their Dim Mak debut with the genre-crossing EP, The Trojan Horse. Executively produced by Steve Aoki, Pharrell Williams, T.I., and Tricky Stewart, WtD united hip-hop heads with EDM fans across seven show-stopping singles, with opening track “Stretch 2-3-4 (feat. Pharrell Williams)” quickly becoming a fan favorite. The up-tempo, funkified, exercise call-to-arms earned accolades from Billboard,Okayplayer, Hypetrak, and more, with Revolt proclaiming, “Kanye’s ‘Workout Plan’ might have just been replaced.”
Following a stint in a Samsung Galaxy commercial, “Stretch 2-3-4” returns to television, this time with Gatorade Propel as part of their #MadeToMovecampaign. To celebrate the single’s success, Dim Mak has released two brand new remixes – the hot-and-heavy deep house edit from LA’s Boots N Pantsand the equally deep trapped out revamp from JiKay. Since The Trojan Horse dropped, WatchTheDuck has been relentlessly active. As revealed in their Inside The Trojan Horse series, Eddie and Jesse don’t just put on a show – they bring the party. This spring, they performed alongside BJ the Chicago Kid for a Revolt Session during Grammy week in Los Angeles and touched down in Tampa for SunFest. They also joined Dim Mak’s 20thAnniversary celebrations at Miami Music Week and SXSW, the latter of which allowed them the opportunity to discuss life on the road with Vibe. Looking ahead, WatchTheDuck will take their talents south for a hometown show at Shaky Beats in Atlanta. Fans can also catch them at the after-party where they’ll rock the stage with Marshmello and other special guests.
