Watch this video: Outrun - “Do It”

Video features appearances from Doctor P and Flux Pavilion

Once upon a time, one half of Outrun was an act called Brown and Gammon, a bonafide member of the original Circus family as all those followers of the labels history will know. When Will was joined by Robin they chose to become Outrun and the rest is recent history. Instantly falling in love with the new act, Doctor P and Flux Pavilion signed the act. After the monumental ‘Time’ on last years Circus Three LP, the free release of ‘Do It’ is their first official solo moment on the label. To celebrate they all appeared on a special edition of Tape Dancing.

It’s been over 5 years years since London-based Circus Records established itself as a world leader in bass music, and label kingpins Doctor P and Flux Pavilion have curated a 30-track LP, carefully selecting tracks from the famed label’s top artists. Dubbed Circus Three, the fiery handpicked collection is out now and dispenses a variety of sounds and styles from the Circus Records family such as FuntCase, DISKORD, Cookie Monsta, Doctor P and Flux Pavilion.

Circus Three depicts the innovative label’s evolution over the past six years, capturing the sounds of the modern Circus Records that have led the bass music label to international fame. Joining 18 original unreleased tracks from the classic artists Doctor P, Flux Pavilion, DISKORD, Cookie Monstaand FuntCase, with an array of the finest beats from the latest signings to the Circus camp including CRaymak, Franky Nuts, Standard&Push and more, Circus Three serves as the perfect blend between the label’s more classic styles as well as the sounds characteristic of the modern music landscape.

This compilation album is the third of its kind. In 2010, Doctor P and Flux Pavilion served up the first major label compilation album, Circus One, asserting Circus Records’ top position in the dance music world. In 2013, Circus Two was born, this time presented by two of the first official signings to the label, Cookie Monsta and FuntCase. Now in 2016, the label founders are back in charge to facilitate the label’s biggest and most exciting release in history.

Following the release of the album, Flux Pavilion, Doctor P, Cookie Monsta, FuntCase, and DISKORD will be heading off on a 7 date U.S. Circus tour this December. Hitting 7 different cities including Los Angeles, Detroit, and Las Vegas, Circus Records will be bringing the fresh sounds into the live music arena and directly to the fans.

Circus Three has already garnered support from Dillon Francis, Excision, 12th Planet, SKisM, Dirtyphonics, DJ Craze, Pegboard Nerds, Downlink, Crissy Criss, Delta Heavy, Crizzly, Dodge & Fuski, Trampa, LAXX, Figure, Reid Speed, Barely Alive, Franky Nuts and Astronaut.

Doctor P releases two-track ‘Show Me Love / Snakes & Ladders’ EP

Following fan favorite Party Drink Smoke with long term friend and collaborative partner in crime Flux Pavilion, Doctor P is continuing with his onslaught of individual projects. After infiltrating the blogosphere with his well-received single “Rekt Together (Every Single Night)” Doctor P is back with two new bangers, maintaining his reputation as one of the godfathers of modern bass music.

Finding time to write fresh beats amongst a raft of summer festival shows (including his bass-head wrecking EDC Vegas triple back to back slot with Cookie Monsta and FuntCase), Doctor P unleashes the double A side single of “Show Me Love” and “Snakes & Ladders.” The funky saw synths and choppy vocals are carried by electronic chugs and (of course) unforgettable in your face drops which are guaranteed to open up mosh pits.

The man who has been creating some of this decade’s defining bass music has added two fresh new editions to his collection, equally as hard hitting, nudging them into the front running for post festival season favorites. Supporters so far include artists like Dillon Francis, SKisM, Excision, DJ Craze, Dirtyphonics, 12th Planet, LAXX, Pegboard Nerds, Crizzly and many more.
