Buzzing Bass House Trio BROHUG Releases "Giggle Juice" EP

BROHUG is here to change bass house forever with their forward-thinking Giggle Juice EP. The record's title track, premiered by YourEDM, showcases an eerily catchy breakdown before the production trio unloads a savage drop full of ferocious wubs, while the second tune "Droppers" features a relentless snare build capped off by a bouncy vocal-driven house rhythm tailor-made for clubs. Both songs make for a monster of a Dim Mak debut for BROHUG, who artfully blur the lines of gritty and groovy on Giggle Juice.

Regardless of their satirical stage name, BROHUG is not here to play games. They have been on an unremitting quest to proliferate their fresh take on club music, blending elements of bass, deep, and G-house. In 2016, their release schedule was virtually unrivaled, as they dropped a slew of tracks and EPs on some of the scene’s most influential labels. They began with their debut self-titled EP in April on Mad Decent’s sub-label Good Enuff and quickly followed with the second installation. Afterwards BROHUG put out two consecutive releases on Tchami’s CONFESSION imprint (“In the Morning” and “Bulldozer”) before landing on Oliver Heldens’ own Heldeep Records with the sinister house record “Make Money.”

In the fall, BROHUG ventured to Spinnin Records for a pair of releases - their genre-bending The Marshall EP and hit track “Guerilla.” The latter received widespread support from Avicii, Martin Garrix, David Guetta, Afrojack, R3hab, Dada Life, and many more. Their support list has only grown since, as Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike premiered Giggle Juice track “Droppers” on their acclaimed radio show Smash The House. With a voracious work ethic and innovative approach, BROHUG looks like a dark horse for 2017’s biggest breakthrough artist.
