FRYE Atlanta’s Two-Year Anniversary - Event Recap + Photos

Celebrating two years in Atlanta, FRYE Atlanta hosted a music-infused evening at its store in Ponce City Market on Thursday, August 10, 2017. Featuring an intimate, live performance by local favorite Little Tybee, FRYE Atlanta’s two-year anniversary celebration kept attendees busy with nonstop interactive opportunities including an on-site vinyl pressing and listening station curated by Paper Garden Records, signature Bulleit Bourbon cocktails, and Wild Heaven craft beer. Vinyl lovers had the chance to bid on a limited edition Crosley record player with all proceeds being donated to the Atlanta Community Food Bank.  With over 200 in attendance, stylish guests shopped and sipped the signature cocktail of the night, the FRYE Mule, made with Bulleit Bourbon, fresh lime juice, ginger beer, and a mint sprigs garnish, (recipe below) and enjoyed delicious bites from Zest Catering.

FRYE Atlanta opened its doors in August 2015 in the Old Fourth Ward’s Ponce City Market – a reimagined mixed use development housed in the historic Sears Roebuck distribution center, originally built in 1926. The 4,000 square foot space, located on the center’s main level, draws inspiration from vintage artisan workshops to highlight the craft of old-school shoemaking. The space is defined by its signature harness ring chandelier, an installation comprised of 28,000 harness rings hung on 7,000 leather straps. Its minimal fixtures and lighter wood detailing create a modern feel in a space that simultaneously nods to the brand's 154-year history. The award-winning store seamlessly captures the spirit and essence of FRYE's heritage while being distinctly local to the Atlanta market.

The Frye Company’s Atlanta flagship store is located in Ponce City Market at 675 Ponce de Leon Ave. NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30308. For more information visit, www.TheFryeCompany.com.
