Style South brings Fashion Week to The Shops Buckhead Atlanta

With two solid days of fashion shows and fashion parties, The Shops Buckhead Atlanta may have just created Fashion Week in Atlanta. The open-to-public event featured the Fall 2016 collections from many of their top retailers - talk about staying on trend with the "show now shop now" fashion movement. 

On Saturday, September 17, Style South hosted the finale runway show at The Shops Buckhead Atlanta. Hundreds of guests and VIPs sipped on champagne at the luxury shopping destination while taking their seats and eagerly awaiting the runway show which showcased the latest looks from Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet, Canali, Les Copains and Etro.

Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet opened the show with their signature edgy glam for the modern woman. Canali followed with a classic collection of menswear. They featured a black and white houndstooth trench that stole the show. The third collection, by Les Copains, was an ethereal show-stopper with it's lace, layering and proportion. Closing out the annual Style South with a collection of menswear and womenswear was Etro. No one mixes color and pattern more successfully and elegantly than Etro.

The Shops Buckhead Atlanta have a winner on their hands and I bet they're already planning for next year!

THE SHOPS BUCKHEAD ATLANTA ANNOUNCES STYLE SOUTH: 

Retailers Feature Fall Collections; Atlanta Sports Heroes Walk the Runway

The Shops Buckhead Atlanta is proud to announce Style South, an exceptional and exciting two-day fashion event including retailer collections on the runway, complimentary beverages, entertainment, and in-store shopping activations around the property.

On Friday, September 16th, The Shops Buckhead Atlanta presents Style South: The Contemporary Collections. From4:00PM - 7:00PM, guests will be invited to enjoy an evening of progressive shopping activations. During the course of the evening, retailers including Joie, Planet Blue, Theory, Kit and Ace, and COS will offer sneak previews of their fall collections. After each runway show, these retailers in addition to Billy Reid will host in-store shopping parties. Fantastic food and beverages will be served, and the event is complimentary and open to the public.

On Saturday, September 17th, The Shops Buckhead Atlanta presents the Style South FINALE: The Professional Sport + Style Collaboration. The event, hosted from 2PM – 7PM, will offer a unique fashion partnership between The Shops Buckhead Atlanta and our favorite professional sports figures and their wives. Participating retailers hosting afternoon shopping parties include Brunello Cucinelli, Canali, Alice + Olivia, Moncler, and Les Copains. Each retailer will offer an afternoon of shopping, with a portion of the proceeds contributed to the individual charity or foundation of an Atlanta sports figure. Then, in the evening, each retailer will showcase favorite fall collection items in a runway show. The show will also feature some of Atlanta’s favorite sports figures strutting their stuff on the runway.

 Some participating athletes include:

·        Warrick Dunn, NFL legend and current minority owner of the Falcons and his foundation. Dunn’s appearance will benefit Warrick Dunn Charities (http://wdc.org/)

·        Jamie Dukes, NFL Network broadcaster and former Falcons great, with wife Angela. Dukes’ appearance will support the Put Up Your Dukes Foundation (http://www.puydf.org/)

·        Terance Mathis, Former Falcons great, and wife Arnedia. Mathis’ appearance will benefit the Emory ALS Center (http://neurology.emory.edu/programs_centers/centers/als/index.html)

·        Brian Jordan, Former Braves & Falcons great and current Braves broadcaster. Jordan’s appearance will benefit the Brian Jordan Foundation (http://www.brianjordanfoundation.com/)

 To celebrate Style South, from September 16 - 18, The Shops Buckhead Atlanta will offer a $50 gift card to customers spending $750 or more. All events are complimentary and open to the public.

Jeffrey Fashion Cares 2016 Patron Party Hosted by SPANX

On Thursday, June 23rd, Atlanta’s most fashionable gathered to toast to the 24th annual Jeffrey Fashion Cares, Atlanta’s most philanthropic fashionable fête set for this August, during a private Patron Party on the ultra exclusive rooftop at SPANX headquarters in Buckhead. Guests sipped on a speciality hibiscus lemonade signature cocktail, sparking rosé and more as they noshed on petite turkey sliders, chilled vichyssoise, steak frites, and macaroons from Dennis Dean - A Catering Company.

The Shops Buckhead Atlanta Announces Peachtree Road Race Viewing Party

Follow the stride of Atlanta runners to Shack Shack and Corso Coffee this Fourth of July for the ultimate Peachtree Road Race viewing experience. The Shops Buckhead Atlanta will be taking over the block from American Cut to Corso Coffee, while hosting a viewing party in celebration of the race. Entertainment and activities will be taking place for neighbors and fans to gather and support this year’s runners. Take advantage of front row access to the course while sipping on an ice cold "Shack Shandy" made with ShackMeister Ale and lemonade, raspberry limeade or Shack-made lemonade. Enjoy complimentary tastes of handspun frozen custard, as well as delicious sips and bites at Shake Shack. Patrons may also enjoy face painting, cheer sign decorating, stilt-walkers, corn hole and Shack swag giveaways while DJ Raetone of Yacht Rock spins tunes all morning. Attom Pop Up Shop Opens at The Shops Buckhead Atlanta

Attom has opened a pop up shop in The Shops Buckhead Atlanta prior to the launch of their permanent store in the development. The luxury concept store is based at Neuchâtel and Berne in Switzerland, and the store at The Shops Buckhead Atlanta is the company’s first US store. Shop labels like Balenciaga, Rick Owens, Maison Margiela and many more.

Relive the 9th annual Doggies on the Catwalk - all the fashion, all the fun! The Shops Buckhead Atlanta lit up on Saturday June 4th with 33 of the latests looks from Akris, Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet, COS, Les Copains, Planet Blue, Theory, Tods and Christian Louboutin. Nearly 500 guests cheered on their philanthropic model friends as the strutted and sashayed down the catwalk with a future service dog from Canine Assistants.
