Fashion Moves: So You Think You Can Dance Episode 15

Everyone continues to step up their style on So You Think You Can Dance. Paula Abdul was sexy in a body hugging yellow dress and tWitch was cool in a blue Ted baker v-neck sweater. Nigel and Travis wear suits well and they know it. My fave this week goes to Cat Deeley in her Dries Van Noten ensemble and those killer Givenchy shoes!! The dresses' floral pattern said "nice" but those heels said "naughty!"

“So You Think You Can Dance” airs Mondays at 8/7C on FOX with host Cat Deeley, judges Nigel LythgoePaula Abdul and Jason Derulo, and mentors Stephen “tWitch” Boss and Travis Wall. Photos: FOX/Adam Rose

Model Casting: Jeffrey Fashion Cares

"Smooth and pretty. Big smile." That was the instruction given to the six foot, stiletto wearing glamazons bidding for a chance to grace the coveted Jeffrey Fashion Cares runway. Clearly, Jeffrey Kalinsky has a vision. The well-orchestrated casting had models from Atlanta's top agencies give their best walk for Jeffrey Atlanta GM Don Purcell, Jeffrey NY's Philip Manghisi, Catwalk Production's Randi Layne and Jeffrey Fashion Cares Chair Lila Hertz - no pressure!

Photographer Tomas Espinoza captured the excitement and energy with a collection of creative images (so make sure and look through the slideshow).

When I was a young artist in graduate school, I chose art galleries based on whether I could visualize my work on their walls... [For me] it was easy to spot a Jeffrey's Girl based on who could pull off Saint Laurent, Givenchy or Lanvin.

Jeffrey Fashion Cares is the closest Atlanta gets to feeling like NYFW. If you've attended JFC then you know exactly what I mean, but if you haven't, get your tickets and be a part of something truly remarkable. Cocktails, after-parties and the best of Fall 2015 runway fashion all while supporting the Susan G. Komen Greater Atlanta and the Atlanta AIDS Fund.

Jeffrey Fashion Cares offers the most exciting and philanthropic evening of the season.

Givenchy Fall 2015 Menswear

Riccardo Tisci showed us that the Devil doesn't always wear Prada. Tisci embraced the "darkness" with his 2015 menswear collection for Givenchy. The road to hell sparkled with a red-glittered runway. Well-tailored pinstripe suits marched down the glittery path, as did sweatshirts, dresses and other-worldly makeup. The to-die-for-pieces that I'd sell my soul for were every single garment patterned with the Moroccan carpet motif. Some were just on a coat while other models sported a head-to-toe, including shoes. Amazing and breathtaking!!

Julia Roberts for GIVENCHY 2015

Julia Roberts Givenchy

My initial reaction to hearing that Julia Roberts was the new face of Givenchy was "YUCK!" and then, "WTF???!!!" I don't see her as fashion. She's void of style. The very few times she's ever looked good on the red carpet is because a stylist dressed her. BUT, I stand corrected with these Givenchy campaign photos. [Though to my defense, Julia Roberts was dressed and styled by someone else... just sayin.'] She looks good. Great, actually. Strong, powerful and modern. Photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the images evoke the " Givenchy timeless beauty" that Riccardo Tisci set out to capture. So there you have it. Julia Roberts for Givenchy 2015.

Designer Rain Boots are a Must!

Where were you when I needed you? It was raining in Miami ALL day yesterday! YUCK. [We still] had a great time at South Beach but I really could have used a fabulous pair of rain boots. These amazing ones by Givenchy are for women but that didn't stop a couple of guys from wearing them. Sure, they looked extra gay but at least their feet were dry. Unlike. Mine! You've got to be stylish always, even when wet.
