Alcantara Unveils Special Capsule Collection with Lanvin en Bleu and the Lanvin Collection in Tokyo

Alcantara recently introduced a fall/winter capsule collection in Japan in collaboration with Lanvin and its licensed Lanvin en Bleu and Lanvin Collection brands. The new fashions include 30 different looks featuring "Made in Italy" luxury material from Alcantara. Yukihiro Takahashi, a highly regarded Japanese musician, and Tomoki Sukezane, a Japanese fashion editor and stylist, played roles in the collection's runway-show introduction.

Alcantara, Italian luxury brand and recognized around the world as the Italianness Ambassador, has released a total of 30 looks which include the signature of the 2 different outerwear, and 28 looks of both men’s and ladies. The values of tailor-made and craftmanship were applied to the exclusive new collection designed by Lanvin with a mix of sensoriality, beauty and functionality that celebrate this unique marriage.

The Italian Company creates for this collaboration an exclusive metallic printed material with the Lanvin’s brand logo and beautiful dyed off-white material used for a frilled dress.

Over coats, suits and pants play the central role of this incredible capsule collection.

Clearly, Jeffrey Kalinsky has a vision. The well-orchestrated casting had models from Atlanta's top agencies give their best walk for Jeffrey Atlanta GM Don Purcell, Jeffrey NY's Philip Manghisi, Catwalk Production's Randi Layne and Jeffrey Fashion Cares Chair Lila Hertz - no pressure!

Photographer Tomas Espinoza captured the excitement and energy with a collection of creative images (so make sure and look through the slideshow).

When I was a young artist in graduate school, I chose art galleries based on whether I could visualize my work on their walls... [For me] it was easy to spot a Jeffrey's Girl based on who could pull off Saint Laurent, Givenchy or Lanvin.

Jeffrey Fashion Cares is the closest Atlanta gets to feeling like NYFW. If you've attended JFC then you know exactly what I mean, but if you haven't, get your tickets and be a part of something truly remarkable. The 20th Anniversary of Jeffrey Fashion Cares was a sensational celebration of life and fashion. JFC founder, Jeffrey Kalinsky has so much to be proud of and thankful for. In a tender, heartfelt welcome, he recognized the hard work and contributions of co-chair Lila Hertz who has chaired the event, passionately and tirelesslyfor ten years. The runway show, which opened with selected looks from special guest designer Joseph Altuzarra, also featured designs from some of the world's top labels [all carried at Jeffrey] such as Lanvin, Givenchy and Dries Van Noten. If I had the power to change one thing about the fashion show, it's that I would have made it in slow motion... it was just that damn good! *Later this week, Style Mag VM will bring you full coverage of the event, including VIP backstage access and a one-on-one with Altuzarra.
