Tiësto Releases New Hit Single With Natalie La Rose and Oliver Heldens, ‘The Right Song’

Today, Grammy award winning icon, Tiësto, and super producer, Oliver Heldens, released their highly anticipated hit new single ‘The Right Song’ ft. Natalie La Rose.

The track, the result of the phenomenal success of the instrumental version which came out last year, is now available to stream via Spotify.

The video plays upon the transformative/escapist qualities of music, as a downtrodden office cleaner is overcome by dance and lets her imagination run free. The viewer is spirited away to this world which was created by the famed directing collective, Shynola. Known for their work with everyone from Coldplay to Radiohead, Beck, Blur, Queens of the Stone Age and more, Shynola tapped into the weird and wonderful dance sequences in such films as Footloose and The Coen brothers’ 1998 classic, The Big Lebowski, to create the magical world of the cleaner. Here vacuums become animated and tables become stages as she deals with the aftermath of a wild office party whilst listening to ‘The Right Song’.

The videos fun and energetic sequences are the perfect complement to the single. Tiësto, Heldens and La Rose, have created a purring explosive club anthem with this new track which features Tiësto’s signature euphoric melodies and Heldens’ darker, futuristic bass tones. The addition of La Rose, the powerhouse vocalist whose single, “Somebody,” featuring Jeremih was one of 2015’s biggest hits, adds an additional layer of complexity. Her vocals fit perfectly with Tiësto and Heldens’ production, bringing the song to new heights and creating an immediately infections hook.

Robbie Rivera To Release New Artist Album This Is My Sound on Juicy Music

After a storied career of releasing house and electro hits, acclaimed beatmaker Robbie Rivera is back with his latest album This Is My Sound.

Rivera’s first album since 2012 compiles his far-flung influences into a eighteen-track collection that plays like an oral history of his career. Drawing together classic house grooves and progressive electro builds underscored by his Puerto Rican hallmark Latin flair, This is My Sound demonstrates Rivera in his finest hour as he broadcasts his inner sonic passions.

“After the worldwide explosion of electronic music and having played all over the world every weekend for over ten years, I needed to take some time off to go back to my house music roots and produce an album that would represent what I love,” Rivera explains. “For this project I focused on delivering grooves and beats dedicated to all true music lovers whose lives are exalted by house music,” Robbie says.

Teaming up with Spanish star David Tort for “In My House,” Rivera layers chopped vocals atop an old-school four-to-the-floor tribal house beat with his classic one note hypnotic synth melody. “Can You Feel Me Now” transports listeners straight to a sunrise set in a sweaty warehouse with its magnetic piano lead, pulsating drum kicks and pitched down vocal samples. Rivera continues his acute use of vocal work with “The Game,” anchoring the synthetic, percussion-driven tune with a futuristic monologue about his boredom with today’s monotonous music and determination to shake up the status quo. Hot off his smash Axtone collaboration with Shawnee Taylor, “Falling Deeper,” this dream team returns for round two with “Follow Me.” Closing things out, Robbie includes “Sume Sigh Sey,” his collaboration with the legend Todd Terry – a brilliant slice of house music.

The Miami-based producer first emerged on the scene in the late 90’s, bringing Latin influences into a genre previously governed by Chicago and European sounds. In 1998 Rivera launched his own Juicy Music record label, and has since collaborated with the likes of Madonna, Santana, Pink, Kylie Minogue and David Guetta, among others.

Daddy’s Groove & Mindshake – 'WOW!' featuring Kris Kiss

The Italian duos of Daddy’s Groove and Mindshake team up with London-based singer/songwriter, Kris Kiss on the incredibly groovy, 'WOW!'.

'WOW!' combines Daddy’s Groove’s deep basslines with Mindshake’s wobbly, electro sounds turning this single into an Electro/Deep House masterpiece. Kris Kiss’ clubby vocals add a very unique spin onto the song, putting the icing on the cake. The buildup features steady snares, which progresses the song into a wobbly, drop. Genre bending is a great term for this one because it’s difficult to categorize. It has Miami vibes written all over it so when you’re walking out in the snow this winter, put this tune on to heat you up!

Daddy’s Groove have always been known for hopping genres, producing tunes from Deep and Electro House to Progressive House. Somehow they always seem to maintain a groovy vibe throughout each song, though. They’ve had multiple releases on Ultra Records such as 'Blackout', 'Pulse', and 'Black Sun', a single on Dim Mak, and a few on Spinnin’ and DOORN as well. Daddy’s Groove have collaborated with just about everyone: David Guetta, Axwell, NERVO, and Congorock to name a few. Their bi-weekly podcast 'Genesis' has come a long way since the first installment in 2012. In 2015 'Genesis' surpassed 100 episodes, which is a huge milestone for the Italian duo. Stay tuned to see what happens for Daddy’s Groove in 2016.

The other Italian duo, Mindshake are on the rise right now due to the success of their collaborations with Daddy’s Groove on 'Surrender' and 'Back' (a rework), and Congorock on 'Nok Nok'. They have now had two originals released through Ultra Records, the Daddy’s Groove rework via Spinnin’, and 'WOW!' will be their debut release on DOORN. It’s been almost a year since they’ve released any music as they’ve been gearing up for a big year in 2016. 'WOW!' looks to be a promising start for Mindshake so don’t turn away because they are only just beginning. 

Kris Kiss has been around the Hip Hop scene for a few years now after releasing his first mixtape, 'King of Hearts Volume 1' in early 2013. Similar to Example and Tinie Tempah his British accent is profound, which has served as a definite crowdpleaser. He made his dance music debut in May 2014 after being featured on Chocolate Puma’s hit, 'Step Back', which quickly amassed over 1 million views on Soundcloud and YouTube. Since then he has been featured on tracks from the likes of Chocolate Puma, Don Diablo, and Laidback Luke to name a few.
