The mix contains brand new tracks from Afrojack himself that have never been heard online previously, plus plenty of other hot-off-the-press bangers with his producer friends and colleagues across the world – including Laidback Luke, Ravitez, D.O.D., Twista, Travis Barker, Apster and MC Ambush. It’s also makes for an energy-packed way to celebrate getting through the first month of the year!

twoloud & Cranksters work their magic on 'Work It'

twoloud and pranksters work it

Twoloud and Cranksters’ latest single, 'Work It' has club banger written all over it. The female vocals in the breakdown saying 'watch me when I work it' set the tone of this electro tune leading into a buildup filled with vocal chops. The vocal chops then lead into a driving kick throughout the drop. The kick mashes well with the groovy synths creating a beautiful combination of electro house music. This new single will rock the dance clubs in 2016 so put your dancing shoes on and get ready to work it!

Twoloud were on fire in 2015. They had releases on Size Records, Wall Recordings, Revealed Recordings, Skink Records, and Fly Eye Records to name a few. They also collaborated with Tiësto and Qulinez. They’ve had their own label, Playbox, for just over a year and it has been super successful featuring originals from the likes of Danny Avila, Kaaze, and David Puentez. Twoloud’s latest original, 'One More' reached over 500.000 plays on Soundcloud and YouTube. You can expect a lot more from this German duo in 2016.

The up-and-coming U.S. duo, Cranksters has been producing electro house bangers since 2012. Since then their remixes and originals have garnered continuous support from the likes of Porter Robinson, W&W, Deorro, Blasterjaxx, and now twoloud. 'Earthquake', their last original was released on twoloud’s compilation, Music Matters Vol. 2 at the end of 2015. A great way to end the year…and this collaboration will be a huge start for the duo.

'Work It' is available now, via DOORN Records. https://doornrecords.lnk.to/WorkIt

Wolfgang Gartner unveils 10 Ways To Steal Home Plate LP

unnamed-6.jpg

Five years after helping to pioneer the US dance explosion with his debut Weekend In America album, Wolfgang Gartner has returned with his second LP 10 Ways To Steal Home Plate.

The 10-track offering is a swirling cauldron of sounds and tempos, bubbling over with bona fide dancefloor igniters from across the genre spectrum. Fans may recognize the final track “Unholy” which Gartner first unveiled in 2014 as a club-ready cut that strikes the perfect balance between anthemic electro beats and shimmering house melodies. The rest of the album is brimming with bombastic electro slammers like “Turn Up,” the thrashing party-starter featuring vocals from UK grime MC Wiley and rap queen Trina, as well as “Up In Smoke,” the grungy collaboration alongside A-Trakanchored by sultry croons from songstress Sirah whose voice we remember from Skrillex’s “Bangarang.”

10 Ways To Steal Home Plate also introduces us to Gartner’s love for nu disco with “Replay,” “Y.W.M.O” and “Faded,” touting airy percussion, playful synth work and saccharine vocals. Rounded out with classic house grooves like “Looking for You ft. Negin Djafari,” “Saved” and “Feel Right” by JHart,” as well as a dance-funk hybrid “Hurricane Slurricane ft. Dam Funk & E - 40,” Gartner’s sophomore reestablishes his reign as one of dance music’s leading innovators.
