ATLAS HOSTS VEUVE CLICQUOT 10TH ANNUAL NY POLO CLASSIC VIEWING PARTY

Atlas, the acclaimed restaurant located at the St. Regis Atlanta, will be hosting a special viewing party for the 10th Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic this Saturday, June 3, 2017. Beginning at 4 p.m., partygoers can mix and mingle in the newly renovated Tavern at Atlas and on its expansive patio while enjoying lawn games, music, bites, and Veuve Clicquot champagne specials. Atlas will also live stream the event that is hosted by Neil Patrick Harris and is brimming with highlights including Jordan Fisher, of the acclaimed Hamilton cast, singing the national anthem, a live performance by Alicia Keys, and more.  The event is for ages 21 and up and is free to attend with a food and/or drink purchase by RSVPing to Events@AtlasRestaurant.com.  For more information, visit atlasrestaurant.com.

Event Recap: 3rd Annual Fire in the Fourth Festival

This past Saturday, May 20, 2017, thousands of revelers attended the third annual Fire in the Fourth festival in the heart of the Old Fourth Ward. Hailing the historic Great Atlanta Fire of 1917, which burned over 50 city blocks in the Old Fourth Ward, this year's fête celebrated with a never-before-seen interactive installation of the 100-year history of Boulevard, one of the best seen performances by Circus Combustus, and a diverse offering of live, local musicians, dancers, visuals artists, food, drinks and much more. Known as a resilient community, Saturday’s rain was no obstacle for the festival as attendees ducked inside local businesses on Edgewood and Auburn Avenues to mix and mingle before The Seed and Feed Marching Abominable band brought back the party back to the streets and bonafide New Orleans-style brass band, Wasted Potential Brass Band, hit the main stage, getting the entire crowd to dance. A free festival that’s open to all ages, all proceeds from Fire in the Fourth benefit the Old Fourth Ward Business Association’s beautification and public safety initiatives. Spend the Summer with STK's "Cucumber Stiletto" Cocktail Recipe

Looking for something refreshing to toss back this summer? We’ve got the trick thanks to a fun cocktail recipe courtesy of STK Atlanta. Serving as the perfect poolside or party treat, STK Atlanta’s “Cucumber Stiletto” is easy-to-make and is sure to add a little pep to your step during any summer occasion. Try this at home at your next party, gathering or soiree. See recipe below:  

Ingredients:

1.5 oz Ketel One Citron

.75 oz St. Germain

.75 oz Lime

.75 oz Simple Syrup

2 ea. Cucumbers

6 Mint

Instructions:

Muddle mint and cucumber with lime juice and simply syrup, add citron vodka and St. Germain. Shake and strain into martini glass. Garnish with slice of cucumber.

Balenciaga Opens a New Store on 57 Avenue Montaigne

Recently, Balenciaga has announced the new opening of its fourth store in France. It will open in September featuring it famous warehouse aesthetic. Expect to see a continuation of industrial fixtures such as conveyor rails for clothes and aluminum foil ceilings. The changing room walls are made from cast concrete while the benches are wrapped in synthetic leather. Accessories can be found displayed on aluminum tables elegantly adding to the over all factory feel of the space.

STYLE AMBASSADOR: GLOBAL RUNWAY

Global Runway called and I jet-setted to the Maynard H. Jackson Jr. International Terminal in Atlanta to report as a Style Ambassador. I am one of several Style Ambassadors involved in a fabulous and stylish fashion presentation experience occurring later this month. We spent a full day with a film crew and 10Squared PR shooting a commercial within the terminal's luxury wing. Nike Opens a LED LunarEpic Running Track

Nike has constructed a full-sized LED running track in Manilla in the shape of Nike's LunarEpic running shoe. It covers an entire block in the city at 200 meters long. It is wrapped in LED lights and up to 30 runners can participate in a virtual race against themselves. All that is required is to set up an initial lap time then a sensor is attached to the runner's shoe. The runner can compete with their avatar which will run beside them. The avatar is your competitor along the way on this LED footprint track.

WORKOUT FOR A CAUSE WITH BLAST AND JEFFREY FASHION CARES

Fitness and philanthropy lovers are invited to break a sweat for a great cause on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at BLAST in Buckhead.
