A.Potts debuted their new collection as part of New York Men's Day during NYFW, which took place at Daylight Studios in New York on Friday September 9th. The collection featured model Elle Smith, the current Miss USA. Footwear was provided by Dr. Martens. This season, A.Potts delivered a more sophisticated and polished collection than season’s past but the avant garde DNA of the brand, its gender-fluidity and inclusion of race and age are quite prevalent.

New York Men’s Day | NYMD’s 18th bi-annual menswear collective, presented by Nobis, will kick off on Friday, September 9th, from 10:30am to 12:00pm ET, and 4:30pm to 6:00pm ET. Occupying three floors, the location for the SS23 edition of New York Men’s Day goes back to Location 05 and Daylight Studios right next to Hudson Yards in the Westside of Manhattan between Chelsea and Midtown. For this season, NYMD will debut spring/summer 23 collections from four new emerging brands and six returning NYMD designers. Title sponsor Nobis will also be present and exhibit their latest fall/winter 2022 collection.

It’s a party this season at Aknvas. Christian Juul Nielsen showed his work in a club-like atmosphere featuring five local New York City models and a live DJ performance by Mona Matsuoka. It was the ideal backdrop for his colorful and tactile work and, adding an extra dose of cool, he shot his fall women’s collection on model Sasha Pivovarova; her images played on screen as the crowd bopped to the music.
