Runway & Photo Shoots

The Art Institute of Atlanta

For the second year in a row, the Art Institute of Atlanta has commanded the 'catwalk' at the annual Doggies on the Catwalk hosted at The Shops Buckhead Atlanta. These emerging designers continue to demonstrate their talent and creativity. They wowed guests with their edgy, glam and RTW looks. The designers' vision came to fruition through our partnerships with CLICK Models and the Green Room Agency. Nyssa Green and her spectacular team gave life to all looks with the right hair and make-up. [And] because these clever designers know how to make use of the best opportunities, they took the time before the event to shoot editorial photos with their models.

They make me very proud and it's been a pleasure serving as their professor at the Art Institute of Atlanta. The President and Provost sat in the front row of Doggies on the Catwalk and just gleamed with well-deserved pride. The featured designers were: Haze Devlin, Tyra Hart, Katherine Hillis and Tierra Macon.

Can't get enough?? Join us on June 12th at the AC Hotel in Buckhead for the Art Institute of Atlanta Senior Showcase runway show for more!

Doggies on the Catwalk 2017

I am THRILLED to share the Doggies on the Catwalk ad for 2017! I got in the photo for the 10th year celebration. The ad will run full page in The Atlantan, Jezebel and Interiors magazines.

The shoot, which took place at Swoox in Buckhead, positions me with three amazing service dogs from our benefitting charity, Canine Assistants. Photographer Tomas Espinoza, who has shot the last two covers, has become quite the expert of working with dogs as models! I am in love with this shot...

On May 6, at The Shops Buckhead Atlanta, twenty models will walk alongside service dogs and puppies to support Canine Assistants. The service dogs will be sporting their service vests and models will be dressed in the latest Spring looks from Alice + Olivia, COS, Akris, Les Copains, Kit and Ace, Theory, Monck Mason and Tod's.

Get your tickets HERE. (This event will sell out!)

ETRO Spring 2017 Menswear

If more of the "real men" models at the Etro Spring 2017 menswear runway had walked alongside their dog it would have made for a better show. There is nothing original or interesting about using non-professional models. It's been done a lot. And for the men who walked barefoot - gross.

What about the collection? Ikat and moire patterns ruled, with the occasional, yet cleverly subtle use of Etro's signature paisley. Etro continued its departure from the skinny pant - kudos to them for that. Short robes, blazers and suits made their way through the show with Etro's elegant and stylish sartorial stamp.
