Tim Gunn & Swatch at Mood... just how precious is this photo!!

Finally, fashion on

Project Runway

. I know, it's crazy! Belk's VP offered an exciting challenge to the designers: to create a look for the Southern woman. The winning design will be produced and sold at Belk stores. Most of them got it right but the bottom three got a do over - a second chance to save their runway disasters.

Helen's daisies were safe but she wasn't happy. What got into the fragile flower? She was pissed! Helen felt that she worked to hard to be safe and should have been on top. As much as I like this dress, I just can't see it at Belk. And neither could the judges, obviously, OR it would have been in the top three.

Orange is my favorite color so perhaps that's what I like most about Justin's dress. He struggled a little bit. Not the greatest design, but he was safe.

Kate didn't win the challenge but I think she was close. The judges responded very well to the pattern and style of the dress. Belk's VP said he could see it in stores and Nina Garcia pointed out that the dress had hanger appeal.

I love the top, hate the bottom. The judges loved all of it. Alexander was a happy queen.

How Alexandria was safe, I don't know. She used the wrong fabric - too stiff to give her the flow she wanted and check out the construction around the neck line. Awful!

Bradon was the clear winner with his innovative, asymmetrical shirt dress. Both judges, Heidi Kulm and Stacy Keibler were ready to fight over who would wear it. Now that would be all too fabulous if both women were caught wearing the same dress and end up on Joan River's Fashion Police segment "Bitch Stole My Look"... who do you think would wear Bradon's dress better?? My money's on Stacy.

Ken

Dom, Jeremy and gaybitch Ken were in the bottom three. The judges were surprised with Dom who usually gets it "right." Jeremy created another "Madam" dress and Ken, well, whocares.com SO, Heide decided they needed another hour to re-design and were provided the assistance of a designer of their choice. Dom created the original design she had in mind for the challenge, Jeremy made a whole new dress and Ken chopped his long purple gown to hoochie level. Dom's second look was such a hit that Belk offered to purchase it as well! She deserved it! Jeremy went home. Such a pity, but his old maid aesthetic is not for Project Runway. [Try Dress Barn.] And Ken... well... his days are numbered. He gave Heidi Klum such a stare down on the runway that she gave it back and called him out on it. Heidi was NOT pleased. Ken is STUPID. Heidi is not only the host but an Executive Producer [and Goddess] ... that kind of rudeness will not be tolerated.

From the preview scenes for the next Project Runway, looks like Ken loses it again. Let's hope he goes home kicking, screaming and crying.
