Project Runway Shoes!

Project Runway gets Soleful

While some of the designers showed us they've got sole other's are clearly still sole searching... it wasn't a super wild, drama-crazy Project Runway but the weak links are poking through more and more. Frankly, the highlight for me was at the beginning when Tim Gunn introduced the challenge. It was all about shoes and what a better place to be than inside the impressive Marie Claire shoe closet with Editor-in-Chief Anne Fulenwider. Each designer chose a shoe that would inspire a runway look. There were some good designs but no wow-factors. [I think] the designers were so cautious not to over-design, as to not compete with their shoe, that the looks were kind of boring.

I don't know any women that would wear such a hideous halter, full skirt and flats! Bradon better get it together or he's going to be dancing in the streets and off the show! And by dancing I mean crying. Like a little girl. With an ugly beard.

I like Dom. A lot. I don't know what the judges are not seeing in her but I wouldn't be surprised if she kicks into high gear soon and everyone take notice. She brings a young, fresh take to everything. Her designing and styling is great. Yet she's always just "safe."

O look. It's Holiday Whore 80's Barbie. She's got the over-sized chunky sweater, tight black mini and knee high fuck-me boots. Jeremy dear. You're pretty and could read me the phone book with that sexy accent but you lack good taste. And after this week, the judges are thinking the same.

[He doesn't know it, but...] Justin gave us Ab Fab realness with his Patsy Stone look-a-like. It works though. It's sexy, tough and edgy. I would have maybe given her a ponytail.

The yellow top is the only thing I have a real issue with. Mainly because it's ugly. The skirt and jacket look good and do not need the weird looking v-shape top to make them stand out. Karen was safe.

Alexandria didn't win but she could have with this super cool thigh-high Gladiator... The judges loved the juxtaposition of the complex shoe with the effortless dress design. I loved it too.

Love it or hate it? Well, lets just say there are things about Kate's design that really work, like the flowy skirt and the blouse, somewhat. The high collar looks awkward. Though the corset-like construction is great. It's the styling I have the biggest issue with. The oversized sunglasses make the model look like a fly and the Victorian lips are just stupid.

I want to say something bad here. I really do. You know that I can't stand gaybitch Ken. BUT he designed a really good look. I can't be mean, this week.

BIG drama, not really. Alexander (above) and Miranda both created red plaid pants. Alexander was safe, Miranda got

Now this was a fluke... Helen won the challenge. What? You heard me. This fragile flower took home the win. Hey - It's a good look and I love the cape. I doubt Helen will keep it up though. Her talent and ideas aren't the most solid and her skill needs improvement. Time will tell...

Michael Kors

guest judges on the next Project Runway. I'm looking forward to that but is he filling in for someone OR do they dare have two nelly queens on the panel??!! Double the bitchery...
