Alexis Mabille Haute Couture Fall 2012

If "show-stopper" was the focus, then French designer Alexis Mabille had a hit with his Haute Couture collection for Fall 2012. One show-stopping gown after another graced the runway in full couture glory. There were velvets, organza, crystals, sequins and glamour for days. Mabille "imagined women as jewels" but in the process he lost sight of what makes a cohesive collection.
