For four years, Doggies on the Catwalk has had a pretty loud bark but on May 18th, the 5th annual fundraising event takes a big bite out of fashion! After all, barking is for puppies and this show's all grown up and underwent a major makeover to prove it.

For the first time, you can enjoy a cocktail [thanks Voli Vodka] while watching the show at our new fabulous venue, Room & Board. Dennis Dean returns to delight with his catering while two of Atlanta's greatest retailers, Tootsies and Bill Hallman dress the models. Highbrow Hound [formerly Dixie Dog] will dress some of the doggies in their finest canine couture and Savannah Tails have beautiful custom collars and leashes for the dogs to wear.

What I'm very excited about is the lounging atmosphere within Room & Board. Even though there will be chairs on the runway, most guests will enjoy the fashion show with a Voli cocktail in hand or a vitaminwater, in one of the many living room settings available. Celebrity models, models from The Bailey Agency and adorable doggies walk past them wearing the hottest designer looks for Spring. Dj Vicki Powell will be spinning for the night. It's a party!

A major shout out to April Trigg of Eventologie who has been a very significant sponsor and friend. April, her husband John and their dog Tucker will be strutting on the catwalk.

There is a new fabulous twist to this year's show [and I have to give credit to April for the brilliant idea]. Because Doggies on the Catwalk is a benefit for Pets Are Loving Support, PALS all the celebrity models will be walking the catwalk with their best "pal" in addition to their doggie, of course. [Cynthia Bailey will model with hubby Peter, Monica Pearson with her husband, Drew Brown with Dennis, etc, etc...]
