The five dynamic brands are:
YOUSUKE HAGA
‘Night Hawks’ - Designer Yousuke Haga likes the feeling of solitude in the city at night. When the streetlights glow, he takes walks wearing a coat or jacket over his pajamas. When he's alone, he can truly be himself.
PCES (Projeto a Cidade E as Serras)
The collection draws inspiration from the Asian cultural association between the number four and death, exploring various facets and implications of death. Is death an end, or a new beginning, or perhaps life has no starting or ending point? Are life and death antonyms, or are they not opposites?
The concept extends from the infinite cycle and possibilities of death and rebirth to the close relationship between the old and the new. New things are born from the old, and the old provides a foundation and inspiration for new creations. In terms of design, traditional elements are integrated into modern designs, combining classic garment silhouettes with innovative techniques. The old and the new concepts are ingrained into the garments.
PCES FW25 collection is a profound exploration of the duality of things, where seemingly opposite elements can share the same fundamental basis. It reflects on the relationship between death and rebirth, the old and the new, inviting one to ponder the complex interplay of these seemingly contrasting forces.
BILL BILL
The term "Colorless Bible" signifies the desire to repaint rigid rules and ideas in one's own preferred colors. Integrating the exaggerated expressions from cartoon movies we grew up watching into a look unified in pure white, we've created a collection that makes it easy to imagine colors and sound effects by adding movement to the clothing.
MEG KIM
For the AW25 collection, designer Meg Kim delves into her archives, reinterpreting iconic pieces that define the brand's core DNA. "Run Wild" explores the intersection of romantic masculinity and utilitarian workwear, seamlessly merging nostalgia with modernity. Washed-colour fabrics, brass vintage buttons, and zippers evoke a timeless, lived-in aesthetic, while thoughtful tailoring and intricate details speak to the artistry of craftsmanship. Drawing inspiration from the untamed spirit of a horse, the collection embodies freedom, resilience, and the relentless pursuit of creative evolution.
With "Run Wild," Meg Kim not only celebrates individuality but also reflects her journey as a designer—always moving forward, always breaking boundaries.
LITTLE BEDROOM
With the brand concept ''Geek Culture Strikes Back!," LITTLE BEDROOM is a brand that aims to fuse street and high fashion into a new apparel culture featuring the highlights of geekdom such as the Internet, anime, manga, and video games.
The designer Sora Komatsu applies his background in internet and anime geek culture to his designs. With experience in running several apparel brands, he has connections with Japanese factories to reproduce and sell his own designs more faithfully. As a result, he has a wide range of designs that he has attempted to produce using traditional Japanese techniques.
