/Gucci opens Milan Fashion Week
Gucci kicked off Milan Fashion Week with their FW23 collection, sans Alessandro Michele . This is Gucci’s first collection without Michele and while it lacked the theatrics and maximalist glam he was known for, the Gucci design team did a good job of presenting a modern collection with less frills but with some sparkle.
When Tom Ford left the label, Gucci went through a series of creative attempts until they found Alessandro Michele who made Gucci his own. Like Ford, Michele has left his indelible mark and Gucci will find its way once again.
