Atelier Cillian debuted their collection for the SS23 season this morning at New York Men's Day. Entitled, “The Hubris of Howard Carter,” designer Stephen Mikhail turned to the voracious appetite of archeologist Howard Carter in his final days of being funded by his patron, Lord Carnarvon, to uncover new discoveries in Egypt's Valley of the Kings. Various shades of gold and navy, inspired by ancient Egyptian reliefs and treasures, are prevalent throughout the collection.
The brand made its debut at New York Fashion Week with its AW22 Collection, titled The Misdeeds of Dashwood, inspired by the legendary Hellfire Club. Prior to launching, Stephen has been fostering relationships with celebrity stylists and VIP clients, creating custom pieces for the likes of Steve Aoki and Machine Gun Kelly.
