Henry Fong Reignites the Dancefloor on "Jump Up"

Henry Fong's eclectic take on dance music soaks through via his sweat-filled club banger "Jump Up." Brimming with party sirens, spicy rhythms and brash global bass sounds, the Florida producer makes a compelling mix of grit and sheen.

Between spending his days enjoying the beach and nights performing at the club, producer and DJ Henry Fong can be found in the studio crafting high-energy bangers. With a signature sound that fuses elements of dancehall, reggae and electro house, this year has seen the esteemed producer continue to be a singular voice in dance music’s evolving landscape. “Jump Up” caps what’s been a momentous 2019 for Fong, following his excellent Fong Island EP, which featured the Rome Ramierz (Sublime with Rome)-led single “On My Way.” His year was also highlighted by “Pica” alongside Deorro and Elvis Crespo, as well as mainstage-smasher “Rave Tool,” which received DJ support from the likes of Skrillex, The Chainsmokers and Flosstradamus.

Boasting multiple placements in the Beatport Top 10, as well as releases on Dim Mak, OWSLA, Hysteria, Mad Decent, Revealed, Spinnin’, Musical Freedom and more, the South Florida native has established a solid reputation as a beatmaker and party starter over the years. “Jump Up” is the latest step in the evolution of Fong’s frenetic sound, painted with exotic grooves fit to serve sound systems in South Beach, SoCal and beyond.

DANCE FLOOR HIT-MAKER FAUSTIX IS BACK WITH NEW SINGLE + MUSIC VIDEO

DJ and producer, Faustix, is fresh off a sizzling hot 2018 - now back with his new single ’Thorns’ out today (via Big Beat Records) alongside the official music video! Listen/watch HERE.

 Written by the Swedish pop-duo Smith & Thell ’Thorns’ is a Nu Disco-leaning track (a first for Faustix) with a universal and relatable theme: getting hurt but moving on as a stronger person. The powerful music video depicts just that, and is the inspiration we all need to believe we can come out of any situation stronger.  

Staying true to the core feeling of authenticity and emotion behind the vocals that Faustix felt upon hearing it for the first time, he coasted on that feeling while building out the production, allowing him to maintain the magic – something he hopes to pass off to listeners. “I feel that the entire track is like we are an orchestra of 20-30 people each playing an instrument having the greatest time, and I love that feeling”, Faustix expressed. 

Over the years Faustix has made his mark in the music scene with over 80 millon streams on Spotify alone, on releases including a production-collaboration with Diplo on the smash hit ‘Revolution’ (which became part of the Bernie Sanders presidential campaign), his hit single ‘Crying In The Sun’, which has already achieved more than 7 million streams, and a remix of the official UEFA EURO song by David Guetta and Zara Larsson. He has also done remixes for the likes of Chris Brown, Icona Pop, Major Lazer, and recently Slushii & Sofia Reyes’s “Never Let You Go.” Over the past year Faustix has started up his EP series “OMG It’s Lit”, releasing vol. 1 and 2 – the series is a tribute to club music and has received massive support from DJs such as Diplo, Alvaro, MORTEN and Snavs.

Deftly blending bouncy basslines with spiralling synths and a euphoric drop, this will no doubt be one of the soundtracks to this year’s Miami Music Week. 
 
Already on track to be a monumental month, Sander will be heading down under for two Purple Haze shows at It’s A Fine Night in West Melbourne on 15th March and Transmission Australia, Sydney on 16th March. The Doorn label boss will then cross continents to play a gig at The Button Factory in Dublin, Ireland, ending up in Miami for his record-breaking ‘Sander van Doorn Presents 15 Years of Identity World Premiere’ at the Spinnin’ Hotel on Saturday 30th March.
