BROHUG Release “Knuckles” EP on Dim Mak
Returning to Dim Mak with a vengeance, the bass house trio known as BROHUG unleash their Knuckles EP. The record’s title track, premiered by YourEDM, brings thumping horns and a grimey bassline to the forefront, while "Guns Go Boom” goes the tech house route, using rhythmic hi-hat hits and vocal chops to propel this energetic B-side.
Since joining the scene only a little over a year ago, BROHUG has ignited music fans around the world with their unique sound that merges tough bass house with deep and techy flourishes. Via early releases on Spinnin’ Records and Mad Decent’s Good Enough, BROHUG set the path for their innovative take on modern club music. The Swedish trio kicked off 2017 by dropping their Giggle Juice EP on Dim Mak. The release hit #2 on the Beatport Electro House Releases chart and received praises from heavy-hitters Steve Aoki, Martin Garrix, David Guetta, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, Afrojack and many more. They followed this up with an official release of Alesso’s “Falling,” which has garnered over 130K online streams to date.
This summer BROHUG is excited to bring the energy of Giggle Juice and Knuckles to North American audiences. Catch them at Electric Forest in Rothbury, MI and stay tuned for further tour announcements.
