MORTEN Brings the Heat With “FIYAA”

Heating it up from his native Denmark, MORTEN’s latest delivery “FIYAA” is a surefire sizzler. The prog & electro house favorite bathes the track in a bass house marinade before igniting it in flames with his signature big room sound. The single marks MORTEN’s return to Dim Mak since his 2015 anthem “Ukali” set the world aflame. The tenacious track garnered A-list support across the globe, including David Guetta, Sidney Sampson, Dimitry Vegas and Like Mike, and R3hab.

“FIYAA” continues MORTEN’s monumentous 2016. He kicked off the year releasing “Beautiful Heartbeat,” on Aviici’s PRMD label. The track racked up over 10 million collective streams, with official remixes from Aviici, Deorro, and RAC. During Miami’s Ultra Music Festival, MORTEN premiered “Body Down (Inspector Gadget),” a playful take on Inspector Gadget’s theme song. Dancing Astronaut called the festival anthem “Unapologetically fun,” and exclaimed that MORTEN’s, “…Not only atop the big room game right now, but using a variety of crossover and club-favoring material to dominate the electronic landscape in 2016.”

Through contagious originals and powerful remixes, MORTEN continues to change the game. His official remix of David Guetta’s “What I Did For Love (Feat Emeli Sandé)” flips the original into a vibrant club-oriented house heater. The bootleg transformation of Adele’s “Hello” gained airplay on BBC Radio 1 and Sirius XM’s BPM, while fans at EDM.com voted MORTEN’s rendition the best of the remixes thus far. His live show is as equally compelling as his production chops, playing to large crowds at Tomorrowland, Life In Color, and Ushuaïa. Make sure to catch MORTEN on the road this summer as all signs point to him remaining a force to be reckoned with on the global dance circuit.
