Puttshack is the elevated mini-golf experience Atlanta needs

A new mini-golf place is open in Atlanta. But not just any mini-golf -- an upscale, tech-infused, indoor mini golf experience!

That’s right: Puttshack is (almost) all indoors. Well, all the mini-golf games are, which is pretty perfect for the scorcher that is the upcoming Atlanta summer.

Think 25,000 square feet of themed putt putt games, all in the comfort of glorious air conditioning.

Sounds like a fantastic place for a summertime date night, birthday celebration, or a family gathering -- especially if you’re the kind of family that appreciates a little competition.

Think of Puttshack like TopGolf but for mini-golf: Tech-driven games where you score and keep track of your points with Trackaball technology. Each game has a different theme, like a beer pong-themed hole or a Georgia football-themed one.

And similar to TopGolf, Puttshack serves delectable food and drinks. The extensive menu is globally inspired and features items such as Persian chicken skewers, chorizo and cheese empanadas, and Korean pork bao buns. And those are just the shareable starters.

The main dishes include handmade flatbreads, sandwiches, and farm fresh salads. All are delicious, but some standouts include the OG burger with a patty made of chuck, brisket and short rib, and the goat cheese and veggie flatbread, which is topped with kalamata olives, portobello mushrooms and mozzarella and goat cheeses.

The cocktails at Puttshack are show-stopping. The Smoking Negroni is served in a smoke-filled wooden chest, which makes for a gorgeous presentation. And the Hennessy Island is as colorful as it is tasty.

You can enjoy the food and drink inside -- there’s a spacious bar and lots of dining tables -- or on Puttshack’s stunning covered outdoor patio. During cooler temps, you can lounge on comfy couches by the firepit or enjoy the views of the Atlanta skyline from one of the dining tables.

You’ll find Puttshack at The Interlock, Atlanta’s newest mixed-use space on the westside, next to other recently opened places like the Bellyard Hotel and Velvet Taco.

Fun fact: Puttshack Atlanta is actually the brand’s first U.S. location, and it’s expanding to cities like Chicago, Boston, Nashville, and Miami.
