The Return of the Aviators

The hipster eyewear has returned in its' famous colors including black, brown and tortoise shell. The chunky oversized frames have been seen on Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid.

Metal frames are trending again thanks to designer brands such as Tom Ford, Chloé, and Gucci. The 1990's acetate frames provide a classic silhouette that is fashionable yet wearable. They are the ideal frames for most considering their angular yet round structure which makes them suitable for people with round or angular faces. Try this seasons trend in gold or silver for a sexy finishing touch.

Tom Ford's Chesterfield Florals

Tom Ford delivers the WOW factor in footwear this season. Featuring embroidered silk and topped with a crocodile tassel, this Italian-made shoe is sure to stop traffic. While this work of art is versatile, as I can see wearing it with jeans or a tux, like a work of art, it's uncomprimising in price. But at $3,770 will it hold it's value and appreciate, like art? I once read an article that with humorous sarcasm stated that only millionaires can buy Tom Ford. Yup, I guess I'll admire these from his website.

GUCCI: The Director A film by James Franco

GUCCI: The Director A film by James Franco

James Franco

takes us backstage and behind-the-scenes of one of the greatest luxury brands in the world. But this documentary, which is airing on Showtime at the moment, is more than an inside look into Gucci, the brand, but rather, delivers an intimate and personal portrayal of Frida Giannini, the woman behind the label. There's a whole lot of studio, modeling, runway and fashion for the Gucci lover in us but understanding the mindset, character and personality of it's creative director, made me appreciate the brand that much more.

Gucci: The Director is an excellent film and I urge everyone to watch it! GucciLover; FridaFan...

GUCCI Presents: SS14 Campaign

Gucci

calls their Spring / Summer campaign film an "

intriguing game of unexpected moves." I call it good editing and beautiful clothing. I especially love the floral menswear.
