Looks of Summer OOTD

Summer is hot but you don't have to be. No one loves dressing in layers more than I do but the sweltering southern heat will have you melting faster than MacArthur's Park. Keep it cool this summer. Like this...

A light chambray, short sleeve shirt, with just a hint of Western from H&M, does the trick and shows off the ink. Keeping my wallet cool, the slacks are from H&M too. Try color for a stylish twist. Everyone likes a good POP. The white shoes (with navy stitching) by Cole Haan add a clean, crisp flair to my look. And guys, loafers, while they're always in style, are really on trend this summer. So slip into a pair. NO socks! The bag is Etro and the shades, Dolce & Gabbana

LOEWE MEN 2015

I must admit that this collection offered greater appeal when I thought the model on the left was female. I thought, how genius to produce a totally unisex collection. Well, I guess in a way it still is. Jonathan Anderson for Loewe subtly rebranded the fashion label through his use of linens, silks and leathers. I love the striped knits with matching scarves, adore the suede trench coats and lusting over the bags. But what I probably love most is  the overall styling and art direction of the images. Gorgeous.

True Blood: True To The End Season 7

I don't know if I'm more excited that tonight premieres Season 7 of True Blood OR pissed that it's the series finale. What I do know from what I've read is that humans better watch out because the vamps are out for vengeance. There are 10 episodes coming this season and in the spirit of many other good shows that ended prematurely, I hope the writers accomplish two things: go really wild with the stories and give True Blood fans closure. We deserve it.

Oh and one more thing. Lets see lots more nudity from Alexander Skarsgard "Eric." It's no secret that he is returning this season, saved from burning on a snowy mountain top in Sweden. SO lets see him naked. A lot. I'm talking full frontal with no obstruction from stupid things like vases, branches or out of focus cameras... You know you're wanting it too!

True Blood #TrueToTheEnd premieres tonight on HBO at 9PM.

The Normal Heart on HBO with Mark Ruffalo & Julia Roberts

Subscribe to the HBO YouTube: http://itsh.bo/10qIqsj The HBO original film, The Normal Heart, premieres Sunday, May 25th at 9PM/8C, only on HBO.

I cried through most of this film.

The Normal Heart, starring Mark Ruffalo and Julia Roberts premiered last night on HBO Films. I knew it would be a tough movie to watch. It was powerful and intense. In 1981, I was in the 10th grade, AIDS hit and a small group in NYC fought a hard, uphill battle for funding and public awareness. No one even knew what to call "it." Mainstream America didn't hear about it until 1985.

The Normal Heart is painful to watch at times. When I wasn't crying, my heart was beating fast or I was just angry. I got emotionally invested in the characters, couldn't help it. The performances are strong and award-worthy. I strongly recommend this film. [Of course, if you read my blog, chances are you're "enlightened" and a caring person and likely will watch - it's the homophobic assholes out there who need to watch The Normal Heart but sadly, are too ignorant or scared to do so.]

Jeffrey Fashion Cares NEW YORK

chad white jeffrey fashion cares nyc

This is a repost from Fashion Cares founder, Jeffrey Kalinsky's Instagram. I'm honored to serve on the Planning Committee for Jeffrey Fashion Cares Atlanta for a fifth year. I love this event!!! The biggest European and US labels  hit the runway every August to a cheering crowd of celebs and socialites.

Jeffrey Fashion Cares NEW YORK, which unfortunately, I have not had the pleasure of attending (yet) takes place next Tuesday at

The 69th Regiment Armory. It features men. I mean menswear. No, I mean men. Smokin' hot, sexy, speedo-wearing male models. SO, about this playful photo by model Chad White, all I can say (because mom reads my blog) is move that damn sign boy!

JEREMY SCOTT Fall 2014

The fashion world would be boring as hell without Jeremy Scott in it. Jeremy is one of fashion's bad boys. He's always a little crazy and a lot wild. For Fall 2014, his interpretation of sports uniforms and locker room garb is quite clever. I absolutely love it and I hate sports!
