With Scissor Sisters' Let's Have a Kiki blasting in the background, over thirty of Atlanta's tallest beauties came out for a chance to be cast as a model in the city's most anticipated annual event. For the opportunity to sashay down the most desirable runway, in looks by Balenciaga, Givenchy and Rick Owens, just to name a few, these young glamazons brought the fierce on.

Jeffrey Atlanta hosted a model call yesterday to cast for their upcoming 20th Anniversary on August 27th. From the VIP beginning to the over-the-top after party, Jeffrey Fashion Cares 2012 will be EPIC! 



Sandwiched between Jeffrey Atlanta assistant managers, Chris and Jake, General Manager Don Purcell and Catwalk Productions' Randi Layne held court as they meticulously made their selections.







Getting the show on the road, Jake Walton lined up the girls who were ready, eager and a little nervous to walk the walk!

Meet the Models

The time has (finally) arrived for the 4th Annual DOGGIES on the CATWALK.

The furry-fabulous fashion event which is produced by the Grady High School UrbanCouture (UC) Senior Designers will take place this Friday, January 21st at 7pm in the school's gymnasium.

The evening features celebrities, NFL sports stars, philanthropists and pups strutting the designs of the UC students. The show is a benefit fundraiser for Pets Are Loving Support, PALS.

A fur-ocious silent auction kicks off the festivities at 5:30 and enjoy lite bites from Dennis Dean Catering while making your bid or grabbing a seat. Doggies on the Catwalk starts at 7pm.

Let's meet the models, designers and some of the 4-legged, tail-waggin' furry angels:


Lets begin with Braxton. As you can see, he's already a model. In this picture, Braxton was posing for rockstar photographer, Richie Arpino. Braxton also holds the coveted title of the PALS Spokespet, 2010-11. He'll be modeling with Atlanta Falcons Brian Finneran.



My heart melts with this one! Buddy, a sweet Golden Retriever, shares a tender moment with his kitty friend. Buddy will be sashaying along side Marian Goldberg.



Chayil's Woman of the Year, Lisa Rayner Tush and her designer Willame Boling.

Stephanie Davis Smith approves her design with Mary Sommerville. With the show date change, Stephanie found herself with a scheduling conflict and had to postpone her modeling career for next year's show. V-103's Elle Duncan, who is totally gorgeous will be working the catwalk with Mary's (re)design! HOT!



Sweet Barnabus the French Bull pup... he's a growing boy at just 11 months old and will be debuting on the catwalk with Rashan Ali.



Q100's Jenn Hobby was modeling with her doggie Carolina, both in frocks by Becca Daniels, until the weather had it's way with Atlanta last week. Jenn had a conflict with the date change and was disappointed she couldn't reschedule. But no worries because V-103's Rashan Ali will sizzle on the catwalk with her design by Becca.



Richelle Carey of HLN meets with her designer Rakhety Livingston. They agree on a silky and chic design - with a whole lot of sexy!



Hi! I'm Stella. I'm not really a reindeer. I'm a 3lb Chihuahua, rescued from a puppy mill and I'll be sporting a flirty silk frock to match the beautiful Richelle Carey.

Look at that sweet little face! Allie and Reginald will be a perfect match.



Anisha and Lindy with their next client, Atlanta Magazine's super star, Rich Eldredge! Rich is a great supporter whose been writing about the Doggies show since the beginning, four years ago. It was about time we got him on the catwalk! Sashay-Shantay!



And the call it puppy love! Her name is Ella, a 12-week German Shorthaired Pointer. Precious! Ella is modeling with Rich. Think she'll steal the spotlight?



The all too Pinktabulous Tammie Reed of Talkingwithtami.com speaks with her designer Timothy Bennett. He even wore a pink measuring tape for her!

One of the best graphic designers in Atlanta and one of the most charitable people as well, the gorgeous Ellen Harden has her measurements taken by Kayla Banes.



D. Muscio Fine Jewelry owner, Dawn Muscio and her small pony Duncan. Well, he's not really a pony, but a 165lb Great Dane! Duncan is a sweet as he is large and will be escorting Ellen Harden. And just in case Ellen's stilettos don't cooperate with Duncan's strut, super hot male model Adam Gates will accompany them... not a bad deal... Here's Adam...

and his 6pk abs strutting PALS Spokespet Braxton in last year's Rubbing Noses fashion show.

This is sweet, young London. A beautiful Standard Poodle whose already made her appointment at Canine House of Style for a day of beauty. London will be modeling with Jenni Lubo in a design by Annie Griffin.



This is Chief. He will undoubtedbly be groomed to show quality perfection by his dad, Canine House of Style owner, Barry. Chief is a Standard Poodle champion and will be escorting Lisa Rayner Tush.



Senior Designer, Maiya Daniels, tape measure in hand, shows Atlanta Falcons Coy Wire the look she has created for him. Coy came in for a final fitting yesterday and he's ready to rock that runway!

The always gorgeous Michaeline Roland, sees eye to eye with Anisha and Lindy on her design for the show. Sexy & sassy!



Shep  gets his measurements taken and is happy strut the catwalk with 'Collective' mom Michaeline.



What about this little one! Cosmo is about a year old and he's a lover. Cosmo and Evelyn Mims will model together.

Vikki Locke to Emcee Doggies

Last week's snow and ice may have forced us to move Doggies into this week, but it did not slow us down! Doggies on the Catwalk is back, with a louder bark and a stronger bite!

We lost a couple of models with the date change and also lost our fabulous Emcee, Holly Firfer. She was so upset to be out of town this weekend that I had to promise to let her emcee next year's show (yeah, twist my arm Holly - hellooo- I luv ya girl!)

However, I love the also fabulous Vikki Locke who is graciously stepping in to Emcee the event. Vikkie and Holly are good friends so really, I'm keeping it all in the family anyway. This will be Vikki's first Doggies on the Catwalk Show and I am thrilled to have her on board. Don't miss out!

Doggies on the Catwalk will be strutting this Friday, January 21st at 7pm at the Grady High School Gymnasium. Arrive early for the silent auction! Doors open at 5:30.

Remember to take the FUR BUS shuttle ride to Grady from PARK TAVERN (corner of Monroe & 10th) for your convenience. The Fur Bus will shuttle you back to Park Tavern for the after party!
