Vancouver Fashion Week (
VFW), West Coast’s most prominent industry event, returns on
March 20th-25th 2012 for its most anticipated season to date, coinciding with the fashion buyer’s market exhibition, which will attract a myriad of reputable buyers to the city on March 15th-22nd, 2012.
VFW owes its continual growth and success to its ability to attract outstanding creative talents from around the world. Unlike any other industry event in the region, VFW exhibits not only emerging local designers, but award winning talents from the fashion capitals of the world such as London, Milan and Paris. It also showcases innovative and avant-garde designers from Asia Pacific, South America and other European countries such as Germany and Poland. [

As it enters its eleventh year, VFW is ambitiously vying for the title of second most prominent fashion industry event in North America, subsequent to none other than New York’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. In April 2011,
Mayor Gregor Robertson proclaimed VFW Vancouver’s official fashion week.
