Fashion's golden boys are back.
Proenza Schouler's Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough looked to the past to bring us the future. The Mid-Century modern architectural style of Googie served as the impetus for their Spring 2012 collection.
Space age materials like plastic were used as woven textiles in addition to other synthetics, down to the shoes. Vibrantly dyed eel skin skirts graced the catwalk as did plenty of pattern - geometric and organic.
