RUNWAY ~jeffrey fashion cares~ 2010

If I had to characterize the runway show at

Jeffrey Fashion Cares

with just one word, that word would be :

COLOR!

Thankfully, I can use a few more words.

On the evening before the event, I was chatting with Jeffrey Atlanta store manager,

Don Purcell

about the fashions for this year's show. We were at a small gathering, so in a relaxed environment and over drinks, Don told me to expect about 60 looks, that the models would be styled with a strong lip and the presentation would be very polished. All correct!

Lets add

chic

and

sophisticated

to the list of descriptors.

Dozens of beautiful models, made even taller by very high stilettos, paraded up and down 144 feet of pristine white runway. The most vibrant greens, yellows, blues and fuchsias captured our eyes and held our attention captive, at least until the next stunning look. The runway show was seamless and cohesive - not a simple accomplishment when considering the fashion show was a representation of many designers.

I'd say that the Peach State bit into the Big Apple with the 18th Annual Jeffrey Fashion Cares Benefit.
