Balmain and Valentino Return to Paris Fashion Week Men's
The return of Balmain and Valentino to Paris Fashion Week Men’s in January 2024, after their hiatus, has generated quite a buzz. Some brands shifted their presentation formats during the pandemic, like Balmain showcasing in a showroom style and Valentino showing at Milan Fashion Week. Both brands show their menswear collections on January 20th.
The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode’s provisional calendar shows an exciting line-up from established names like Dior Homme and Louis Vuitton along with Pharrell's collection, to emerging talents like Burç Akyol. Givenchy's transition from Matthew M. Williams to their studio for the Fall 2024 line also piques curiosity about the new direction they might take.
Some of the other brands appearing on the calendar include Berluti, Acne Studios, Bluemarble, Wales Bonner, Rick Owens, Issey Miyake, Amiri, Dries Van Noten, Dior Homme, Kenzo, Undercover, LOEWE, Kidsuper, Sacai and Rhude. The closing show with GMBH must hold a lot of anticipation too. The variety of brands ensures there's something for everyone's taste and style.
