The afternoon started with a dirty martini and ended with YSL.
I had a business appointment with Style Mentor, Stan Mukoro of MUKORO I BESPOKE which turned out to be more like a play date. Could you imagine walking towards a sea of designer shoes: boots, loafers, sneakers, more boots and all in your size! There were also jackets by Gucci and Dsquared and lots of jeans, many of them YSL. Of course, I tried everything on!
Stan and I had so much fun. He’s become a good friend and someone I look up to for anything and everything fashion. A mutual good friend who is also Stan’s style confidant, the fabulous Reggie
Walker, kept reminding us that we were “working”.
MUKORO I BESPOKE is providing my wardrobe for my upcoming charity event, Doggies on the Catwalk. (There’ll be a story on that next week.)
Finally, after about 3 hours of “playing” dress up, two looks were selected: one for television, one for the after party. And believe me, after Stan, Reggie and I decided on the looks, since my shoes were already off, I couldn’t resist trying on shoes, shoes, shoes!
