MUKORO I BESPOKE’S Red Carpet

What happens when Atlanta’s leading menswear stylist, Style Mentor Stan Mukoro, hosts a red carpet event?

You get a room filled with some of the best dressed men in the city – Talking fashion and showing off footwear.

(The evening was graced with very beautiful women too!) But it was the men strutting their threads Monday night that ruled! Stan, never to be outdone, sported a white tuxedo shirt, dark skinny jeans, and HAUTE patent leather Tom Ford shoes.

Other fashionados representing were Jeff Glasheen, Reggie Walker, Paul Smith, James Brashears, Brian Short, Fredrick Parker, Brandon Miltsch, Mark Hayes and Mychael Knight.

Sharp and on point was the name of the game. All winners.

Blondie’s Call Me … and Dsquared² answered with a menswear collection inspired by the poster child of hustlers, Richard Gere’s character, Julian Kaye, in American Gigolo.

Meticulously tailored shirts, trousers and suits in the luxurious style that only Dan and Dean Caten deliver. The collection  is very wearable and perhaps that is the only problem with it. The “wow” factor was missing – just a little. In keeping with the American Gigolo theme, Gere’s character, though sexy, toned down his appearance as to not stand out.
