Fashionado

Muse Salon and Spa is one of the top salons in Atlanta and its also one of the busiest. I started getting my haircuts at Muse after featuring one of the owners on fashionado about a year ago. Jody Mason, the other Muse half, contributes to the salon’s success through his skill, talent and passion for learning and keeping up-to-date on the latest styles and trends. His overall commitment and dedication to his clients keep them coming back.

A native Georgian, Jody went to beauty school in Atlanta. But today, he travels internationally to work and study with leading European stylists and designers. Jody spoke about the difference between American and Parisian approaches to hair and beauty. He pointed out that top salons in Paris have an old school approach where American salons are faster in theirs… He’s found a balance in the two approaches so Jody’s clients can be in and out quickly yet they feel they are the only person in the salon.

When asked what he’s most proud ofwithout hesitation, Jody says, “my staff.” He sang the praises of a well trained, loyal team of talented stylists who enjoy working at Muse and who have established a culture that is welcoming and pleasant to clients.

Just recently, Muse Salon and Spa was listed in Elle’s Top 100 salons.
