Meet LURE Portraits: owner and creative director, Alice Jaitla, photographer Jamie Rosenthal, makeup artist Jordan Eliza and hairstylist Marie Hansen. Their creative vision feeds the heart, body and soul through the eye of a lens by taking the radical approach that portrait photography should be an exciting, modern and a personal experience. LURE puts a new spin on a very old tradition, applying commercial quality, techniques, and aesthetics to portraiture.
Alice Jaitla says, “Working in the editorial world, I realized that we should be applying the same principles and elements we use to capture beautiful commercial images to noncommercial portraiture, to create a luxury portrait experience.” At LURE, this means a customized shoot with professional hairstyling, makeup, creative direction, photography, and retouching.
LURE Portraits is composed of LURE Women, which provides luxury bridal, boudoir, and maternity portraits, and the soon-to-launch LURE Men and LURE Couples. With a focus on providing a quality experience and product, the LURE team infuses each shoot with care and keen attention to detail. From the one-on-one pre-shoot consultation and champagne at the shoot to the pampering and gentle guidance during the session and the exactingly retouched final portraits, luxury and personal attention are LURE’s calling cards.

My personal testimony, the shoot was a blast! I went into this with an open mind and a willingness to let go and have fun. I gave Alice and Jamie full artistic license to ensure that their dynamic vision and creativity was completely represented. The experience was truly awesome and empowering.
